Simple Read

Move North-West
If you hit a Wall, walk around it westwards and continue North-West
If the Wall extends more than one Screen North-West, once it has a opening, move East and walk East / South-East to find the Waypoint.

While the Simple Read can get you through Vaal City, it will take a lot longer on 2 Variants of the Zone.

To properly identify the Variant you are in we look at the First Wall we face.

  • If the Wall is in form of a Cliff right at Zone Start, you are in the Cliff Variant. Move North-East along the Cliff till you see the Big Wall, you should also be able to see the Waypoint on the Minimap. Move East along the Wall and once you can move North again, move North-West past the Wall to find the Waypoint.

  • If you face a Short Wall shortly into the Zone, but can see the Left End of the Wall, move North-West till you reach the Cliff or see the Long Wall. Move West around the Wall and once you can move North again, move Nort-East to find the Waypoint.

  • If you face a Long Wall shortly into the Zone, one where you can not see the Left End of it. Move West till you can move past the Wall, then head North-West again till you reach the Long Wall. Move further North-West along the Long Wall till it stops and you can move East. Move East into South-East to find the Waypoint.

  • Finaly if you reach a Short Wall several Screens into the Zone, but can see the Left End of the Wall. Move past it then you imedieatly face the Long Wall, move East till you can move past it, then head North-West to find the Waypoint.
